My name is Julianna. After 25 years of life in the North, I met a boy from the South. His name is Jedd.
Jedd and I met at a birthday party of a mutual friend (who had moved from the South to the North), after Jedd moved to the North, too.
Now we live together in the City where we've been together for more than 8 years: New York. And although we live in the big city, our wedding was decidedly Southern.
Since the closest I've come to living below the Mason-Dixon line was by way of the midwest back in the '80s, I suppose you could say I know very little about Southern style. The good news is, in our time together we have spent time every year traveling around the southern states so I had plenty of inspiration to blend it all into something to behold, along with inspiration from what I love around these parts, too.
And now we are married. The most fun event of our lives was April 30, 2011, and it was exactly what we wanted it to be.
